SUPER JUPITER
Astronomers have discovered a "super-Jupiter" orbitting bright star Kappa Andromedae. The planet, shown here in an artist's impression, has been named Kappa Andromedae b and has a mass around 12.8 times greater than Jupiter's - pretty huge! It's teetering on the dividing line that separates massive planets from small brown dwarfs (an object between a giant planet and a small star). This is now the largest known star to host such a giant orbitting body.
