Hansika Motwani

Hansika Motwani is an Indian film actress who predominantly appears in Telugu and Tamil cinema, while also appearing in Hindi and Kannada cinema. She made her film debut in the Telugu film Desamuduru (2007), that fetched her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut – South. Following appearance in in several high budget Telugu films like Kantri (2008), Maska (2009) and Billa (2009), she started her career in Tamil cinema with the film Mappillai (2011). She has been part of commercially successful Tamil films including Velayudham (2011) and Oru Kal Oru Kannadi(2012) and has since become a sought-after actress in Tamil cinema. Hansika began her television career with a serial called Shaka Laka Boom Boom. Simultaneously, she also acted in a child role in the Indian serial Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand, for which she received the Favorite Child Award at the Star Parivaar Awards. She also appeared as one of the children in Koi Mil Gaya with Preity Zinta andHrithik Roshan.  Hansika made her debut as a leading actress in Bollywood with Himesh Reshammiya in Aap Kaa Surroor in which played the role of Reshammiya's love interest.
